The Extravagance Nissan Xterra :

The Nissan Xterra is an SUV which is Frontier based vehicle. Nissan F-Alpha platform built the car in the name of the Xterra off road drive triathlon vehicle. The production of the car started in the year 1999. Brazil still continues to produce race series cars. This car is a compact SUV which was for the first time simultaneously introduced in North America and Japan. With the increase in the popularity the car attracted lots of Europeans. He was called as Nissan Paladin in the Chinese market. The Nissan Rogue is the successor of this car which was produced in Mexico. This became Nissan’s highest grossing SUV.

The master mind features:

This SUV came with 3 very distinct features. A hump backed rear gate, innovative raise in the rear roof line and unique rear door handles. The stadium seating effect was brought in due to raised roof and first aid kit was provided at the hump backed gate. The layout of the car is a front engine, four wheel drive or the rear wheel drive. The four door SUV looked similar to that of 2 door camper shell truck.
The engine was both petrol and diesel. The I4 and V6 are two versions of engine used in the car.

The petrol engine is powered by 2.4L KA24DE I4 or V6 engine which produced a power output of 143 HP (107kW) and the diesel engine is powered by 2.8L TDI CRD 4.07 TCE I4 engine which produced a power output of 140 HP (100kW) . The SUV came with 4 speed automatic and 5 speed manual transmission. This produces a top speed 120 KMPH and an acceleration of 100 KMPH in 7.4 seconds. This is a heavy duty SUV which has a rigid leaf spring at the rear suspension which give a better driving experience in the wash board or the hill.

The car has built in rear seat bumper footsteps, has a revolutionary roof rack constructed with aluminum and has the capacity to hold up to 68 kg. The wheel base is about 104.3 inches, length is 178.0 inches, width and height are 70.4 inches and 73.6 inches respectively. The solid steel is used to make the wheels of this tough car which makes it stronger and rugged. Privacy glass at the rear will enhance the sporty look of the car. The remote car key helps to lock and unlock the doors and also has a panic button. Electric power doors and windows, automatic lock when the car reaches certain top speed, under floor storage adds to the distinct features of the car.

The car is equipped with standard air conditioning with automatic defrost and heater. Entertainment system has AM, FM, CD stereo player which comes with 6 speakers. The car provides advanced air bag system and seat belts. The rear wheel gripping is enhanced by the vehicle dynamic control along with traction control system. This automatically adjusts the power levels by the brakes and helps to correct the steering path. The Nissan Xterra has standard climate control system and cruise control.
