The car is available in Saloon and Estate versions. The specifications of the both the versions are almost the same. The cost of the Citroen C5 Saloon is Π28,795 and Estate version is priced at Π 29,895. The fuel economy of the Saloon version is more than the estate version. The Estate version has a little variation in its performance when compared to the Saloon version.

The core of Citrogen C5 is made of 2.2 liter diesel engine. The engine is available as an exclusive trim. It produces a power of 201bhp and a torque of 332lb ft. The engine provides a moderate acceleration of 0 to 62mph in 8.2 seconds. Unlike other lower range car with steel spring and manual transmission , it uses a six speed automatic box that comes along with Hydropneumatic suspension.
